Primary care providers find e-consult beneficial not only in its impact on patient access to care, but in its educational value. Our coalition aims to deliver ongoing e-consult education in support of the providers and staff who are the backbone of this effort. We are offering a session on November 9, E-Consult for Behavioral and Mental Health, presented by faculty Petra Steinbuchel, MD, and Michelle Riederer, MD, UCSF. This session will present case examples of effective e-consult communications in response to patients’ behavioral and mental health needs.
